I actually love every season - regardless of whether I'm in Europe or on another continent. But autumn can conjure up a drama of movement, colors and light that fascinates me. When I was traveling in the continental part of Croatia one autumn, I stopped on a hill on a country road and let the drama of a late autumn morning sink in. It was wonderful!
